Default Jag X type 3.0 or BMW 330i both Auto

    Hi..

I thinking of going for a BMW 330i Coupe or saloon Auto or the Jag X type 3.0 V6 auto

    Both are 231 Bhp

But BMW RWD and JAG FWD..

What do you reckon anybody drove both ?

    Ian..

IMO - I'd say the BMW Coupe.

But I pick that over the Jag as I'm 23 and find Jag's very boring... so my opinion might not be worth much.

Yes driven both except the Jag was the sport version

However i'm a purist, rear wheel drive so BMW all the way will last longer than the Jag and will be worth some money unlike the Jag in a few years time.

Remember the Jag is a MONDANO in disguise

Unless you like mondeos with a bit of wood glued to the dash, id stay away from the x type, its not got any of the qualities you expect from a jag, nd imo really cheapens the marque.

BMW is a bit ubiquitous but much better car.

BMW Saloon, you know it's the better choice.

Haven't had anything to do with jags but own a BMW myself and would pick the BMW simply because:

    (1) I find mine great
    (2) As stated above, Jags are really a posh Mondeo now

BMW all the way, it will hold its value and drive much better.
