Best PAYG Mobile for £50

My mum wants to buy a mobile for my 10 yr old son as he lost his last one. She has a £50 top up voucher for the 3 network so obviously it should be compatible with 3. Any recommendations?

Thanks mate. I looked at this earlier on in the week but wouldn't the skype feature just go to waste particularly with a 10 yr old.

Feck it. haven't got much time left. I'm getting the Sony Ericson K530i for £60 out of the 3 shop. Hope it's a good phone and deal?

the skype feature is just like using messenger...some of his friends may be even on it...its not difficult to setup or use on the phone.
besides the skype feature it is still a 3g phone with video calling,media player etc and comes with a 512 card for his music,java games etc...would give him some features to play with on a budget phone..£39.99 with £10 credit it on it is a budget phone and good value imo if your looking to use the 3 network

why not go for the £64.99 package deal then and grab yaself a usb dongle modem for the extra fiver?

Argyll go with the Sony ericsson at least if it goes wrong when he drops it etc then it can be fixed at any repair centre

Skype ones are great price but everything else about them is shite IMO
