Nokia 6500 Slide Unlocking

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can help.

Currently have 2 x 6500 Slide's on Orange and want to use my T-Mobile chip..

I used a Turbo Sim in my phone. Just pop it over your sim and away you go. Plus you can use the sim in other Nokias etc as well. Worth £20 IMO.

Fuck £20, get one from www.dealextreme.com for less than a fiver delivered I have used their i-smartsim in a 6500 slide and works perfectly. A little fiddly though the way the sim holder in the phone is made but with a little tape holding the sim in place it works.

If you are in a hurry I have one you can have for £10 delivered or £5.50 delivered (which should be cost price give or take 20p odd) if you become DF VIP .

lol well if you can get one for a fiver then it makes more sense than paying a tenner etc to get the phone unlocked! I read they are hard to unlock for some reason?

Not sure about actually unlocking any hpones anymore as I just use unlocking sims. The N80 is the only phone I couldn't do with a sim but the N95 and N95 8GB were easy as well as the 6500 and a couple of other phones I have tried.

some of the turbo, xsims, rebel sims dont work well with the 6500 as i have tried many they seem to work well on every network but o2 for some reason but work brilliant in most other phones

this is just speaking from my experience

i could not get the turbosim to fit in the 6500 slide but my local market unlocked it no probs

Is there anyway of unlocking the Nokia 6500 slide without using a turbo sim or having to goto the local market and have it done? the networks locked to Orange!
