Updating to XP SP3
I'm helping one of my mates out an have reinstalled XP for him. I'm not sure exactly where the disc came from but I found it one of my cd's pouches. I don't want to switch on auto updates in case it's not genuine. Where else can I get SP3 from please?
I understand and accept that some people hold opinions that are different to my own. Living in a free and democratic society, I fully embrace and respect their right to be wrong.

Erm, I don't know of any spoofed software that has been delivered through ms windows automatic updates, but as an alternative just go to windows update website, go to the section for developers / network admins (I think the link is somewhere on the bottom left of the home screen), and you can download the standalone package

The WGA Permanent fix (easy found on Google) is your answer, gets past WGA every time!
