Default Blyth Spartans play Blackburn rovers

    Blyth Spartans 1-0 Bournemouth

Substitute Dalton (c) headed a dramatic late winner for Blyth

Blyth substitute Ged Dalton scored an 89th-minute winner to set up a home FA Cup third round tie against Blackburn.
Dalton, 18, entered the fray on 72 minutes and latched on to Andrew Wright's cross to put Blyth into the third round for the fourth time.
The game was turned on its head on 59 minutes when Bournemouth substitute Brett Pitman was given a straight red after a late challenge on Paul Watson.
But Spartans deserved the win in front of 4,200 fans at Croft Park.
The home side had the best of the early exchanges with skipper Gareth Williams peppering visiting goalkeeper Shwan Jalal with some high balls.
The former Tottenham keeper stood firm and it was the Cherries who had the first sight of goal, but Lee Bradbury's 20th-minute strike failed to trouble Blyth goalkeeper Mark Bell.
The 20-year-old Pitman received his marching orders just three minutes after coming on and Blyth almost took advantage immediately.
After smart work from Shaun Reay - Blyth's two-goal hero from the first-round win at Shrewsbury - Robert Dale curled a shot wide.
But Spartans were not to be denied, and when fellow substitute Wright raced clear down the left, Dalton, who does not even train with the side, was on hand to send the home fans wild.

Blyth Spartans: Mark Bell, Leeson, Boyle, Williams, Pell, Poole (Wright 62), Watson, Gildea, Dale, Reay, Hume (Dalton 72).
Subs Not Used: Farman, Fenton, Gladwin, Evans.
    Booked: Dale, Dalton.
    Goals: Dalton 90.
Bournemouth: Jalal, Guyett, Cooper (Partington 9), Pearce, Bartley, Hollands, Ward, McQuoid (Pitman 56), Molesley (Connell 72), Bradbury, Cummings.
Subs Not Used: Pryce, Garry, Igoe, Preston.
    Sent Off: Pitman (59).
    Booked: Partington.
    Att: 4,040
    Ref: Graham Salisbury (Lancashire).

This is a brilliant result. With Blackburn losing Paul Ince, i reckon the minnows from Blyth will get through to the next round. 5 mins up the road from me.

    Well done lads

Aye, well done to them. They are not far from me too. It would be tremendous if they beat Blackburn.
