If you have claimed the allowance back in 2002, you cannot claim it now.
Thanks, but think I've had it already, but I'll check to be sure.

Someone said there was an article in the metro about this and it's a scam to get bank details!

Had a look at the link that at first glance to me looked like an official website but if you pay any attention to it obviously isn't.

I don't know if the metro article is the same thing at this stage but I thought I better post as soon as I found out.

Sincerest apologies to anyone who may be negatively affected by this.

    I dont think so m8!

This is a genuine offer where you have to download a pdf form and fill in your details, no bank details are required.

You then have to authorise "The Entitlements Agency" as an agent( they will charge your £94), this isnt necessary thos as if you contact the Inland Revenue direct they can advise you if you qualify anyway.

You arent refering to this are you? Which is a different scam altogether!

In my opinion no m8 the original post is genuine. Its now the same as the Metro scam its a freephone number as well!!

Just call the tax credit office direct, I didnt qualify as my tax code for that year ended in H.

You don't have to go through this agency either, just ring up tax credits and and they'll tell you which form you need just like Clubber said. Best not to send the form off from the original link on page on as you'll lose £90 quid.
