E74 error

My lad was playing COD4 and said what's up with the sky it looks like it's raining.
I went in and looked at it and it looked like a badly tuned analogue TV.

Turned it off and waited a few mins. When I turned it back on it gave and E74 error.

I'm going to send it back to MS but with a warranty sticker like this I think they will tell me to fuck off.



Is it best to just remove the sticker completely and do I need to flash it back to original?


Also if MS do tell me to fuck off is there any way to repair it? I would do a search but the minimum amount of characters is 4.

If they do tell you to fuck off you could always try the 3 red light fix

i've done about 20 of these and the majority of them have been fine but i have had a couple back but have since sorted them out

lol yeah it is. 1 year and 22 days old and the fecking thing does this. I'm sure MS put a time bomb in it so it's just out of warranty I'm going to tell them it's a rrod and also blag it that my son won't have anything to play as I've bought him loads of games for Christmas. I told him I'd spent £180 on games for Christmas and now my son won't have anything to play them on (another lie, he's playing on the spare right now). He offered me 1 month gold subs which i told him was standard practice and he was hardly doing me any favours. I went on to say that it was a bit of a joke and he started getting narky and said "well that's the damn offer" lol. I told him I find that word offensive and that I would never dream of using it in conversation to a customer.
I'm going to write a letter and get something out of the cunts

Does it matter that I've told them it's a 3 red lighter and it's not or will they repair it anyway? Or do I need to force the rrod? I don't really want to as I don't want to fuck it even more if they do tell me they're not touching it

They should do it for you mate so leave it as a 1 red light and send back as a 3 red light.

I didnt restore the rrod one I sent back on 3rd December I had an October 2008 Liteon within 10 days!

Yup complete luck of the draw mate, someone I know a console that had RRoD, fixed it but the audio was fucked over component. Didn't have a optical amp to test so took out the working disc drive and replaced with an empty drive shell and no warranty sticker. Will see if it gets returned fixed or not

i also had the same nice fella on the phone last time one of mine died. i also phoned back, asked to speak to someone else and explained what had been said to me. ended up with a new pad, and a wireless head set out of them.
