When messing about with it, it either turns on but doesn't eject or doesn't turn on but ejects.

Can you buy a plain cream faceplate, or does anyone have a spare??

Rang Msoft and a new Faceplate and Wireless Headset are on the way.

Rang MS today over an old 2006 XBox360 Registered to someone else (2nd hand). Changed the Reg over to me, and put in for a repair. At the same time 'mentioned' my 'non-existent' black wireless controller.

Recieved 2 emails tonight. One with a shippig label, other with a confirmation of my 'Xbox Accessory' being shipped!

They told me I need to send my controller back to them (like that will/can happen! lol).

Happy as a Sand boy ATM!

How did you get the reg changed over to you?

I tried a couple of days ago and they just were not having it. Tried the I'd won it in a competition / raffle spiel that normally works but no!

Said 'I phoned earlier and spoke to a kind gent thats sorted out the registration confusion with my XBox, somehow, unbeknowned to me somebody else has registered it in their name and details by mistake and I'm none too pleased! The fella gave me a reference number, which I've left at work, but told me to ring back this evening to test it. I've wired it up where my other one is and it just doesnt want to know!'

Wasnt taking no for an answer, he tried to argue a case, but I said he hasnt got a leg to stand on, someone else has my details (Serial Number) and under UK law, he has got to register MY belongings into MY name!

Posession is 9 tenths of the law!

Worked a charm! lol

I still think it depends of the Operator you speak to at the time. If it's a bloke, he'll help you out, a woman will fob you off til your blue in the face!
