Default Due an upgrade, cant decide

Had my n95 on TMobile now for nearly 18 months, upgrade is due the end of Jan. Cant decide what I want next. Like the look of the Sony X1, but TMobile dont do it. Looking at their site, seems Ive got a choice of the Sony C905, TMobile G1, Samsung Pixxon, Nokia N96, LG Renoir of Samsung Tocco.

Not overly fussed about the G1, but dont know enough about the others to make my mind up. And cant change provider either, am on a staff deal with TMobile through a mate, so get everything half price.

Thought about the n97, but theres 2 things putting me off it

1: Its still a symbian phone, and after the n95s initial problems, and the same for the n96, I cant see it being much cop until theyve released half a dozen firmware updates and fixes for it

    2: Its massive.

c905 is favourite at the minute, followed by the g1. Need to go into a phone shop and have a proper look at ehm both first.

Not available on contract with t-mobile, and, as I said in the first post, I dont want to switch providers. That and the fact that my brothers got an iphone 3g and I think its bloody awful.

You already know what I'm going to say - Don't get the N96 - you'll only regret wasting an upgrade as it's really no better than an N95 with 8Gb card or N95-8Gb

What makes the N96 better for me is the faster file transfer time.
It was a pleasure to use last week in a hotel in Spain, just hooking it up to the tv and watching some movies i had put on there, great quality too.
Wouldnt have been poss for me with N95, took ages to put stuff on there.

Never had that problem - but I use PC Suite as little as possible - usually upload music and video by removing the card and using a USB2 reader - nice and fast. Alternatively at home I use the WLAN again much faster than PC suite

Yes understand on the old N95, but on the 8gb version you dont have a card.

don't go for the pixon - i had it and wasnt impressed. camera wasnt all that, and lack of apps made it a poor choice. Sent it back and got an iphone instead - best decision i have ever made.
If I'm not back in five minutes... wait longer!
