Are you using probe? If not are your bridges ok? Also did you open the tray, turn off, then push halfway in? I thought I read one app does this for you but can do it yourself.

I always power cycle the CK3 between attempts mate, I have read a key before then tried again and got a bad key because I didn't power cycle the CK3.

No, you cannot read the liteon flash. Make sure you extract the drive key and spoof data, then flash. To be doubly safe put the drive key in another drive and test with the 360.

Liteon is fairly unbrickable much like BenQ and Samsung.

I did a lite-on last night....used DOS rather than windows as I have a VIA6421A....No real problems, apart from l-o-eras refused to return anything other than FF80, despite firing it at it about 50 times. Dosflash however erased and flashed fine after a power cycle.
Im a bit concerned that I never got the FF72 and its not fully flashed........

000000000 = tray half way not correct

CCCCCCCC = power cycle needed / probe not correct

Quick question about the ck3 probe- Does the pin actually go into the hole? It just seems to push in when I try it and not go into hole :S

Also, I keep getting either CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC or all 00000 for the drive key, I realise this is due to connection and drive tray, any tips on how to get it right easier?


I note in the tuts it says green light will come on when probe connects to the place on the board but mine is green already???? I am currently testing on my old liteon drive which has had the 2 points soldered just to make sure I can connect right before buying a new 360. Could this be causing issues with the probe?
