As mentioned by Bodman and also myself in an earlier post, Bod, Neo and I met up at the weekend for a bit of a photoshoot. LOL, a few of these are clones of Bods shots.
Starting off with a B/W shot of the Tyne. I got my inspiration for this kind of B/W conversion from Newcastle Photographer, Steve Mayes. I actually prefer it over the colour version.
The image is level but the curvature of the bridge and the buildings on the left bank give it the illusion of not being level.
These images are sharper when opened directly on my computer but for some reason they're a touch softer on the forum.
And a colour version. The light pollution is awful but was tough to reduce.
Two images of the Tyne river from the Tyne Bridge. Slightly different composition and crop
Railway bridge across the Tyne with a train crossing.
The next two images are light trails taken from on the Tyne Bridge. I got the Blueish hue from manually adjusting the white balance in the camera (the bit with the crosshairs where you can reduce/increase amber, magenta etc.) The odd squiggles to the right I believe are caused by camera shake as cars were thundering past.
Finally, an apartment block on the banks of the Tyne. The image is level but the angle of the shot gives the illusion that the building is leaning or the image isn't level.
