    Help help with a cover up

    I need a bit of advice from you experts , what i want is to get a old indian ink tatt on my upper arm covered up now i went down to my local artist and he has said it has to be done in black as it will show trhough other colours, he has suggested an eagle now i wanted something like a native american shield with a pipe and some feathers hanging down i have the pic looks good but he sezs noo. Any ideas is he being straight with me or should i try some one else any help would be nice cheers dudes...

    Post a photo of it, dark tattoos usually have to be coloured up with predominantly black designs.

    Either what TF says or have a look into having some laser work done to reduce the darkness of it.

    cheers dudes so will have to go with black then ah well ,TF it's too embarassing to post lol thats why i want it covered up had it done when i was 17 now 51 so thought get it done plus i get stick of the kids lol

    last time i was being tattoo'd i was told theres some "stuff" (i believe thats the technical name for it lol) that you can have tattoo'd on to an old tattoo and it helps to break down the pigments and fade/ remove the tattoo with little scaring, then you can tattoo over the top once its faded enough or been removed. personally ive not seen it done or the results of it being done so i cant tell you to go that way for it

    go on post a piccy, weve all got something that didnt go 100% perfect or has aged badly
