Internet access

Hi guys,

I am based in Spain and we do not get free access as in the UK, I get charged day by day, is there any way I can switch off the Internet completly and just connect manually when I want?

The bloody iphone keeps connecting to check my mail and that's it I get charged for that day.

settings - fetch new data - (Push on / fetch manual)

Will only check when you go into the mail app or ask it too.
