lost password for router

hi, got a netgear dg834gt router but i lost the username and password(put my own names in)
i know i can reset it, but is there anyway i can find my username and password
if i have to reset my router, what setting do i need to note, and where will i find them

this software will crack the password for you but it could be very time consuming depending on your setup...find copies in the usual places
