Wifeys Silver molly dropped its litter of babies
Feck me how many do tropical fish drop when their pregnant Last count was 40 babies from her. Some of them were eaten by the loaches but still 40 all alvie and kicking well err swimming in the new nursery tank she got

Big fin silver molly by any chance if so up to 100+, every 29 to 35 days lol they hold sperm upto six months for future drops. So even if the male is taken away, you will still have babies get some java moss off ebay and the young will fight the fight in the main tank the nurserys are crap if its the floating type as they get polluted and damage the fauna of the tank + the main tank causing dye off as ammonia and nitrite peak.
A seperate bare bottom tank would be best with small water changes every day to keep polution down even adding some floss/ sponge from your filter or a bit of substrate from the main tank will deal with this and stop you killing the babies. any advice give me a shout im a marine man myself but have fond memories of tropical fish keeping many moons ago.
