Seedhead

Taken by putting the seedhead stem into another tripod head, and in the garden (Brrr) I used the wall of the house as the background. Sigma 105 lens.

Very nice shot Paul and I must admit, when I chose my Simplicity theme, I considered something such as a shot like this for my own entry as it is by definition a shot that fits the Simplicity criteria.

As for this shot, excellent Dof as I've come to expect from your shots and nice crisp detail on the seed head. The addition of the intensified light through the tips is also well captured. I like the more subdued winter colours as well.
