Beautiful. Loving the lack of colour if you know what I mean.
Very nice shot Paul and I must admit, when I chose my Simplicity theme, I considered something such as a shot like this for my own entry as it is by definition a shot that fits the Simplicity criteria.
As for this shot, excellent Dof as I've come to expect from your shots and nice crisp detail on the seed head. The addition of the intensified light through the tips is also well captured. I like the more subdued winter colours as well.
Very nice mate, makes me want to start playing with my Sigma 105 as well....must make time
