    Film Slumdog Millionaire

Well - I was'nt sure what to expect, but what a great movie this turned out to be, highly recommended. One of the better movies I have seen this year which did not need CGI.

I thought this was absolutley bloody brilliant. A fantastic story and I was shocked as to how good it actually was

This is the only film I've ever given a perfect 10, and it completely deserves it. Danny Boyle has made some cracking films in the past (Trainspotting,28 Days Later and Millions) and a near perfect film (Sunshine). With this latest of his efforts, in my humble opinion he's achieved perfection.

The lead acting is brilliant (perfect actors for the subject matter), and the direction is masterful. The plot moves at a perfect pace, and the ending is extremely apt. Dev Patel play his role like a seasoned pro, considering he's only ever acted in 19 episodes of "Skins".

I'd be surprised if this film does not pick up a few Oscar nominations.

It was a good movie but i read the book it was based on beforehand and compared to that it was a letdown..

they completely changed the ending, anyway i dont want to give away too much but if you want to read the book its called Q + A by vikas swarup.

    overall i give it 7/10

Brilliant film, up there with Crash which is the only other film I would give 10 out of 10.

The kid actors were excellent, (at the age where he jumps in the shit tank).

Watched it last night, and normally when films are hyped up then I am disappointed. However, I found that the story flowed well, and the acting was first class, and some of the tales told were disturbing.

    Info Re: Slumdog Millionaire

An incredible film a must watch for everyone, Danny Boyle listed below as you can see is a exceptional director. Please don't be duped into thinking this is a bollywood movie, far from it. It is a true account of what goes on in these third world places. Only when you see this kind of a film do you truly appropriate the life we live. Oscar nominations should lead to rewards with this film. 9/10

When I first saw the posters for this film, it just looked like another tacky love story with 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' fitted in to make it even more cheesy. Even the trailer was the same.

I can honestly say the advertisement of this film did it no justice whatsoever. I watched it three times in a week, it really is that brilliant. The scenes are just stunning right throughout. It's is so hard hitting and opens your eyes to what it is like for the people living in Mumbai. There is a few scenes which I don't think I will ever forget in this movie.

    Highly recommended by me.

I thought that this was pretty good all in all, but I couldn't quite see the extra layer of excellence that has won it all of the awards.

Personally, I would have given the Oscar to Benjamin Button.

Watched this a couple of days ago and like others, thought it would be over-hyped nonsense leading to a barrage of similar films being forced down our necks. How wrong I was. Had me engaged start to finish and I really felt for the characters. Excellent movie. 9/10
