    Default Kielder National Park....

Took a drive with the family to Kielder this afternoon under a shit dull sky and flat light. Managed to steal a few shots here and there so only a couple to share.

Definately going to head over there on my own (or with Bod most likely) to shoot it properly. What a magical place...

    As usual, beautiful shots Mate.

Excellent use of those rocks in the foreground again in these images and a great sky to compliment them. Nice smooth lake surface as well. As I mentioned in the POTY thread, I'm a sucker for landscapes and the 3rd shot is no exception. It has everything in it. Really nice. Makes me yearn for the lake district. A place I'm looking forward to heading up to in the new year for sure.

Excellent work on the Pano, can't even see any hint of a join lines in the shot. Something I've not tried yet but must do.

Now I really like the picture of Kaila (thank god that IS a rock and nothing else.. hehee). Looks like she's about the wing that rock right into the lake and the expression is "honestly, I'm not going to"

A really nice shot and I'm guessing the 10-20 on the camera flipped sideways. Really makes for an unusual perspective but one that works really well.

    Good stuff

Great stuff again Tony, but I really like the first one above the rest! Great use of the scenery!

    Cheers chaps...

All shots taken with the 10-20 (fucked if I was taking my gloves off to change lenses )... All shot RAW, all with auto WB.

    - The first was shot at f22 for 10 secs.
    - The pano was f16 @ 1/30
    - The rest were f8 @ 1/30 or 1/25

Ian, yep, Kaila shot with 10-20 in portrait.

Great shots, spoilt by the ridiculously large copyright logo. When did you turn into Getty Images?

On a more serious note, by the looks of the copyright you're serious about selling images? If so, you may want to consider a name change for the business, try searching for 'whaling images' using Google as I just did.

    lol... Very good point...

Myself and my pro photographer brother are looking to set up a studio so I'm just playing around with logo ideas. Needless to say, he hates that one

The company name is not yet decided, and your point is very valid. Maybe a rethink

Cheers for the comments on the photos though chaps
