Hey mate i am just new too but use a bit of common sense, if you dont like the rules of the forum then why join it? Personally i think its a good rule that you need to introduce yourself, I lurk on loads of forums and do not have a single post on most of them, this way it has forced me make my first post and i am now on my 10th already. Thats a record for me!

ok fair point, maybe me calling the rule pointless was abit stupid on my part.

On other forums i use they have a rule where you can only create a thread by making ten posts. Rather than making you create a thread about yourself when like yourself maybe you dont like to post much.


But DF has been around alot longer so the guys here are doing something right.
