Been using AVG Free for ages and my PC runs fine. Had NOD32 which was great but this had expired some months ago......Hope the serial number is a legit one???

Not really worth having for free
It only picks up about 50% of trojans and viruses
Even the pro version is not much better
You get what you pay for !!!!!!!!!!
I have been building pcs for near on 20 years now and always found Norton to be one of the best but it is a resource hog
I use kaspersky 2009 now and it picks up everthing and is less of a resource hog than Norton but still has a few issues in Vista x 64
Tried all the rest Eset and Macfae Etc,there not much bettter than AVG

From my experiences with it i thought it was shit lol. Ive got NOD32 now paired with malwarebytes pro and there great.

I agree with Gfox that my experience with Norton has been poor. NOD32 was great but not �48.89 (three Pc's).

Doesn't matter what you 'favour' really, there is not a one stop solution to defending your pc imo. I use various apps although AVG isn't one of them, it has it's place to some I suppose.

What he fails to tell everyone is that its only for the first 175,000 that apply for it and it is indeed legit

No, I haven't tried it, I don't doubt it works but I don't really want to use a pirate key.

Maybe it was posted at HUKD but it's not anymore, I expect they pulled it for exactly the same reason as I've removed it from here. There is nothing mentioned about it on the AVG website either.
