As topic states what are people doing regarding xbox 360 and modding/going on live?

Been banned twice myself now

If you have never been banned please post what fw your on and how often your online?

Do people think the ban hammers only happen at xmas?

I've never been banned nor have any of the poeple that i flashed their machines for them

I always make sure all of the games played on live check out in mulleter / abgx

Always updated the machines whenever a new firmware came out

I honestly don't get a lot of time to play on it at the mo (new baby) but my friends hammer it all night long

It seems as if Microshite ban people just before christmas as they know it will increase there end of year sales figures

Never been banned, had my first console for a year unflashed then sold to get HDMI which was a Benq. Flashed with ix1.41 and allowed it to sign onto live everythime I turned it on, accepted all updates. Only played a couple of backups actually on live though just because I don't play many games on live.

had mine about a year and a half, connects every time i turn it on, never been banned, always update fw as soon as it comes out and check every game on abgx360 or mulleter before then, play live 3 times a week for about 2 hours each time.

To be honest i have a back up machine that is flashed incase i get banned but seeing as i never have it just sits there!

Never been banned, been using a benq flashed with 1.41 since April. That xbox died just before Christmas so flashed my spare which has an MS28 with 1.5 and straight back on live.

I was banned a long time ago back when the Halo 3 multiplayer beta on the Crackdown disc was released with Xtreme 2.2. I never checked my games back then and played them before release etc. Eventually my banned 360 died so I sold the parts. Now I will be getting a new Xbox 360 Premium and flashing it with iXtreme 1.5. I will be more careful this time and check all my titles in ABGX/Mulleter but I will still be using Xbox LIVE.

Extreme 1.5 and check all releases in abgx/mulleter seems the way forward..

I was actually banned last time when playing FIFA 09 original online..

I believe there were quite a few 'dodgy' scene releases in the last 3 months. Saints Row 2 and Call of Duty: World at War were two of them I think but im not 100% sure. Maybe this led to some bannings. I guess we will never know their tactics but there are some things you can do to lower the risk such as having the latest iXtreme firmware and checking your titles in ABGX.

I never played saints row but I still use the allstars COD5 release to this day so very much doubt it was COD5 related to the bannings.

Got banned about 6month ago, my 360 died, took it back, got a new one, reflashed now back on!

Banned twice. The Allstars cod5 rip is verfied by the way. Just people got paranoid when they were banned the same week as its release.

The reason was most likely the Saints Row 2 preview copy.

Got banned May 2007 (Xtreme 2.2 for Hitachi) due to playing games with no stealth files such as Crackdown, Hitman etc

Banned November 2008 (ixtreme 1.2,1.3 and 1.4 for samsung then a spoofed drive) - Played Saints Row 2 review copy on it.

Bought a new console and was legit for a month or so, flashed now with Lite-on Ixtreme 1.5 playing everything under the sun.

Not been banned as yet, but I try not to play anything online that is a copy. I'm using a 1.41 (or 2, ask EvilSatan!) Ixtreme, have played COD5, but not got around to Saints Row 2 as yet. All my games have been checked with mulleter. I'm guessing its just a matter of time, but until that day comes I'll just play on quite happily.

I have 2 consoles, 1 flashed and 1 not. I play online with both as one is my bedroom. When the flashed one gets banned I'll get another one. It will happen eventually.

As long as you stay away from Saints Row 2 by Seed4me and all the other repacks (Grim, MRN, Vortex,DiPLODOCUS), the corrupted DNL copy, you should be fine

Stick with well known groups like X360int...

I been banned once from crackdown allways check the games with ABGX/Mulleter now.

Didnt play saints 2 and i always check with abgx360. But my m8 has exactly the same setup as me, but he played saints 2 and he got banned, so defo was that game..
