Any decent ps3 deals around?

thinking of getting a ps3, preferably the 80Gb version.

getting a new plasm so thought id buy a ps3 to be a media centre aswell.

probably would like to play little big planet and fifa 09

any decent deals on at the moment? don't mind waiting a few weeks if need be.

Love to know the sales figures of these versus the 360, surely Sony have a little movement on that price?

I know that wireless comes in the box and you don't need the battery chargers for the pads (do you get 2 controllers in the box?) but it's still that much dearer than the 360.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the machine, I just want to buy one for fuck all!!!

I had a launch machine and sold it to buy an Elite as my first 360 RROD and at that that time there was sweet FA to play on it.

However now there looks to be so many more interesting titles, and some of the PS Network titles are looking quite good as well.

I just don't understand how they removed features from the box but the price has hardly changed in nearly 2 years.

im in the same boat, i sold my 60gb console cos there was jack shit out, now i fancy playing LBP and killzone 2. Im not gonna pay big bucks for 2 titles though. I dont give a fuck about the bluray player either.

bout month ago i went from a 360 back to a PS3 i got 80gb PS3 with LBP, Motorstorm and Fifa 09 for £299

as traded in my 360 + bits did not have to pay fook all

there is a guy who has managed to get one at that price. Ive rang a couple of stores and no luck but you could give it a go.
