Hi, It is good to see that there is forum where one can discuss and even trade information about digital receivers, TV etc. I wonder if any-one has considered trying to source a digital to analogue decoder. The reason being that at present one does not have to pay for extra TV points in a house, so you can have as many TV's as you like and therefore watch different channels on different TV's with analogue signals, due to the fact the TV is the signal tuner. When we go digital, something we will have to do when the analogue signal is turned off, a separate decoder is required for each TV and more importantly that has to be paid extra for, whether it is Sky or Tiscali B/Band tv.
If some-one made a digital to analogue decoder then thedecoded digital signal could be split and sent to an anologue TV in the same way the signal is received at present - therefore one digital decoder [subscription paid] but multi-room viewing - free as it should be.
Any ideas any-one ?
