Oh happy days indeed, my first modem was an external 9,600 kbps and I was thrilled with it. I then bought a 14,400 kbps modem for £ 100.00 and was even more thrilled with that !! ( at the time it was equivalent to two weeks wages )

Now I have 20 meg connection and get really pissed off when I only get 14 meg download speed.

But the sounds of a modem connecting and handshaking does take me back.
What if the Hokey Cokey "IS" what it's all about?
