Morning, Would it possible to create a nice & simple script to change my desktop layout one way then back to normal ,all at the click of one icon?
I know there are programs out there to do this and more but i dont wanna install 50mb of crap for what surely could be done in a simple windows script.
I always had xp desktop as 'out the box', but i was mucking around with the settings and right clickin
Taskbar/properties/Lock taskbar TICKED
Taskbar/properties/auto-hide taskbar TICKED
Taskbar/properties/Keep on top TICKED
Taskbar/properties/show quick launch TICKED
Taskbar/Toolbars/Desktop TICKED
Taskbar/Toolbars/Quick Launch TICKED
Desktop/Arrange Icons by/Show desktop icons UNTICKED
I also added a sweet looking wallpaper ,and it's given my laptop a new minamalist look plus it seems to load quicker(probably bull$hit).
The whole screen is just my wallpaper ,roll mouse over bottom edge - up pops taskbar/quick launch ie7 and im surfing at full screen size.
When unattended click show desktop and the whole screen is empty just sweet wallpaper. Normal desktop icons are listed from
taskbar/desktop or quick launch.
But i want the ability to click a shortcut to flip between this desktop setup & then back to normal 'out the box' XP
(it's a lot of effort all that right clickin) .It must be writeable in script surely ,any takers?
