R4 sdhc

Just bought a R4 SDHC ,i take it it's one of those copies going about....i bought it with a 2gb micro sdcard ....is the card compatible with the R4 ?? as i have dropped a few different firmwares in and seem to be getting the same result,i turn the DS on and it just boots up and says "LOADING"...seems to be stuck on that.........what am i doing wrong peeps????

Theres about 4 diff firmwares, have a look at the Dx site and download them, trial and error till you find the one thats works

you need to be running the 1.25 firmware mate,try http://linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ bang that on and put your game in root directory or name a folder games if want handy to do if you want to put muisc or videos in 2 other folder keeps everything neat...Rob

Ive just tried the 1.25 and no luck....i have a ds simply and had no problem getting that up and running
just downloading 1.22 now.....anyone else got any ideas????

Just reformatted to FAT 16 ,tried v1.8/v 1.25/v1.21/v1.19 ....still comes up with "LOADING"




please can anyone give me summat else to try....its driving me bonkers.

I assume its a clone R4??????????

R4 SDHC is a clone yes. Personally I wouldn't touch it, bought a few before and they bricked 2 DSs.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! at last!!!!.....it turns out the "R4" i bought is in fact a bleedin N5 card with a R4 sticker on it and a R4 box....how bloody ridiculous is that???? why bother making it look like a R4 when it didnt come with any software disc and obviously i.m gonna look for R4 downloads???


If anyone else out there his having trouble with a rather cheap R4 then try downloading N5 v 1.17 (it seems to have 6 files in it)


i bought it with a 2gb sdhc included for £14 including postage......ive got Mariocart on it at the moment and will update if any further problems
