Cant get ringtones into itunes ringtone folder.

Hi

Ive followed some instructions on how to do get a custom ringtone onto the iphone but get stuck at the end.
Ive changed the file from mp3 to acc, copied it accross to my desktop, renamed it to m4r, then your supposed to drag and drop it into the ringtones folder on itunes...but its not letting me!

Does anybody know what im talking about?
Can anyone help me PLEASE!

ive got a brilliant iphone ringtone maker m8, it lets you make your own ringtone 30 seconds long out of ANY mp3 or other music file you want.

Then it sends it into itunes automaticly and you just sync, tick the add ringtones box and they are there in your iphone

its the best one ive used so far

you can select 30 seconds of any song start at any point you want, and it must convert them FOR you coz all i did was click send to itunes and it worked.

but i cant find the fuckin program now on my pc, think i may have deleted it when i installed windows 7

Yes, all the clips i have are under 30 seconds and yes, i have selected the clips before converting to AAC.

Ive just had a thought....how do you change the extension to m4r?? Is it just renamng the file?? If not then that could be why its not working!
