hi guys running my psp on 150 firmware for homebrew not had any problems installed tiger woods o9 but get message game could not be started (80020148) any ideas wot it could be

You said that your PSP is on 1.50 for homebrew. I presume that means you are using the 1.50 kernel. What is the actual firmware of your PSP. If it is 1.50, then you would need to update to the latest firmware in order for the game to work (not an official firmware though, a custom one)

hi sorry didnt explain myself i have an old psp it had 1.50 firmware it is now running on 3.30 so if i upgrade to latest firmware does that mean i dont need loader etc on the memory card can i format card and just add iso

You can put firmware 5.03 (I think), but if you want to play ISOs then you need to install a custom firmware.

hi right final time this doin my head in i downloaded the above update put it in psp/game/update but when i try to install get a message 5.00 not found do you want to download troube is i cant download as my wifi has a passkey with numerical and alphabeticals and it only allows me to use numbers any help please thanks again

I would turn off the Router security for the time been so that it is open to all to eliminate this issue.

As for the Tiger Woods not been read, chances are you have a bad version. There is a link on here about this, I had a bad version of it along with another member, after getting the right version all is well

rename to 500.eboot i think check your m33 readme that will tell you and put in the update folder along with the custom firmware eboot and run

I was told to convert the CSO file to ISO using cISO converter but the s/w wont work!?

If you dont convert the iso to a cso it works
