Does anyone remember this board game? It's game that my cousin got, in the late 70's.
I was only about 6 at the time so some of the details are a little hazy.
There was a board with a raised box in the middle. Each player had a burglar/robber figure, complete with swag bag. One other player was a copper. The idea of the game was to move round the board, and onto the raised bit in the middle to steal a bar of gold, which you put in your swag bag. The raised bit in the middle had pressure sensitive pads on it and when you put your player on it you had to press down which depending on the luck of the draw would set off the burglar alarm. If the alarm went off the police player then came after you and all the other burglars had to go to safe houses while you slipped the police.
Nobody I know remembers this game, and I know I'm not making it up! I seem to remember we played a lot of games around this time due to power cuts / or the TV stations shutting down in the early evening.
Please, somebody put me out of my misery and tell me what it was called or who made it.
Cheers!
