Apologies if this is the wrong place to post

Been downloading a few apps from the market, coming across a lot of shite, cant find many recomended apps from searching google so thought id start up a thread for anyone to add in any apps they think are worth grabbing while there still free

Ill start off

Cab4me Light - Will find out where you are, and bring up a list of local taxi firms in that area

Barcode Scaner - Use the camera to scan barcodes, then go online to find the best price for that paticular product,

Meebo - chat client for, AIM, google talk, ICQ, msn etc etc

Screen Crack screensaver of a cracked screen, looks real enough, missus nearly battered me when i told her id broke my phone already

Shazam - Play a few seconds of a song, it will get back to you with the track name, artist, album its from etc

Mr T Soundboard - because Mr T fuggin rocks

Here are the ones I have installed up to now, the shite ones I delete straight away, so these must be OK?

For those who mainly use yahoo for messeging a new release called "Hello Yahoo" is a far better bet. will only send IM via data not using texts like some others.
Also available by the same people is "Hello AIM"

For me the pac man game by Namco is a must, cracking version of the arcade original & finger swipe control for the joystick.CB Blackjack is good too.

Also got AnyCut is a great APP. - use that a lot
The official Last.FM though probably only good over wi-fi not tried data yet.

My Bookmarks will let you import your bookmarks straight to the android, although you have to upload them to their site first, which is probably a bit dodgy! but I did it anyway cause I'm too lazy to type them.

Picsay is fun for adding silly captions/props to photos.

Ringdroid will let you cut any section of a song out to use as a ringtone.

Save MMS lets you put attachments on the memcard, although this feature is going to be implimented in the next firmware due anytime now!
