This almost makes me cry. I sold all my setup before I moved to Thailand. I had the trusty SL1210's. I think I have some pictures so I'll try and dig them out.

VINYL WILL NEVER DIE!!!!! (maybe just burn)

Well here's some pics of my setup. In the most part it's in bits. Basically since moving house a few years back I have had the intention to build a new studio in my garden. Money and other reasons have prevented that for now, so my production gear is in the loft, playing out gear in the shed and my decks are temporarily set up in my front room, wired in to a small amp and speakers. Does the job for the time being...

Gold arm, well I had an accident when a monitor speaker fell onto the tone arm. I was on holiday at the time and came home to see a speaker had smashed into my deck! I took to the local repair shop, and guy said he only had a gold arm (from the limited edition 1200's) and would that be okay. He gave me a discount as well, so I said fine. Chavvy, but different! LOL!

I have a load of vinyl stashed in the loft as well as a load in storage at a friends house. Vinyl isn't pretty to look at (apparently!) so I only have a few hundred in a unit with a cover over it in the front room.

    Playing out gear:

Speakers are in other shed, and too hard to get at for a pic...

Here is my new setup, Djm700 and 2 cdj800's. Ive also got 1200's and a scratch mixer but no room for everything. Monitors arent in the pic because they are rubbish! Will be getting some new ones soon, thinking JBL's or something like that.

Acen, my god I must have listened to trip to the moon a million times.

    and one more time...

not quite as cool as owning the vinyl, but less dusty and space consuming.

I have all three on vinyl ;-) Part 1 is my funeral tune! I have my secret record box in my bedroom, which, in the event of a fire goes out the window first!

Only thing Hippie mate, is you need to sort those decks out!

    Some record collection as well!

Yeah you're right, the PDX3ds aren't good for the vinyl with their straight arms.
I think there's been a pair of MK5Gs calling to me in the night recently
