    Info Graphics Card Problem

I thought it was the monitor but it seems its the graphics card. Heres the situation.

    I played COD 4 online.

So im playing screen flashes goes blank then the power save mode icone comes out.

Turned all power save options in power settigns to never.

    Tried again same problem.

    Check offline mode. same thing

Put in dead space same thing

Change from dvi-d connection to VGA open up COD 4 play a few minutes then bam same thing.

Also right after this happens when i restart it as no action brings it back, i then get it load windows goes to right b4 the sign in screen flashes power save mode then goes back to normal.

LAter i will hook up laptop to the monitor and test that out as well.

switched monitors same hting happend im now gonna disconect the second monitor and go with one. first the dell then the acer. Did it with just the acer same thing.

So i opend the case cleaned out dust on the fans and closed it back up. GOnna try again while running catalyst to see if its at a certain tempature.

OK i did some tests at 98/99 degrees the game crashes.. then the VPU message comes up stating.

VPU recover has reset your graphics accelrato as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands

What is 98/99 degrees? Your CPU or GFX card?

The temps seem a bit high. What's the make and model of the card and does it have a fan?
