    Help fitting a dishwasher NTC

Guys.. My dishwasher is fooked.. and After a bit of investigation I thought the problem was the heating element... So I invested £90 in a new one and fitted it.. .... erm.. wasn't the problem..

So .. I have studdied harder and faster and a divine light has informed me that the NTC may be the issue.. so I have invested £40 in a new one (e-spares fooking love me), I cant find any resource on the web explaining the install..

so.. if in trouble and no one else can help.. its time to call the Digital Forums team.. ..

Any help greatly appreciated.. as the wife is a nagging bitch!

Sink, Fairy Liquid, lots of hot water, a pair of hands - Job done

Lazy feckers with their posh dishwashers lol

Have you looked online for a manual? My combi boiler was playing up the other week and after some googling I managed to get an engineers manual. Turned out all I needed to do was bleed the radiators (I know that wont help you here) but it's worth a punt?

Buy a new one you're loaded, what you've spent you'd be half way there already

I came across this the other day

    http://www.fixya.com/RegisterTx.aspx

Someone on there may be able to help.

measure the ohmage over the heating element mate, just to make sure your new one has not been shorted, it should measure 28 Ohms then send me a pm to discuss

The NTC is under the cavity in the base of the machine. Module is in the door or if there are two, one in the door and one in the base. You have to attack it from all side, ie removing most of the structure and possibly the pump to get at the part.

Did you run it through the test cycle mate ? Says in the manual how to do this and look at led error codes ?
Strictly speaking, a steady flashing with no pattern is F1 - the ntc sensor

Can you take a reading of the NTC before and after pouring hot water on it and post the findings please mate ?
If you check the Resistance between terminal g5 and g6 you should get 6.03 k ohm at 20 degrees Celsius.

If we get certain readings it's probably failure of the temperature control circuit on the PCB itself, but unusual.

    NTC =
