Left 4 Dead

What do you all think of this one? I've only played the first level and only in single player mode, (for obvious reasons

) but I'm liking it a lot- nice and simple, very basic control system- that's a plus in my book and the zombies are just a joy to kill!

Its good fun, especially if you can get 3 mates to play as well. The only downside is that once you've played all 4 missions a few times it gets a bit samey. I believe new content will be released eventually though. Definitely worth buying !

Personally I love this game there are only 4 campaigns as the guy above me mentioned but its quite replayable and fun doesnt even begin to sum it up.

I hated it at first but am slowly coming around. Think its probably better on PC than xbox but its quite cool if you playing with 3 mates rather than random people on xbox live.

I not played the multiplayer yet either but that is supposed to be good fun.

Maybe I do need to try the PC one instead...

I'd say its definetely better on the PC.

Thing about Left 4 Dead is once you break the skin it's a lot more fun playing the hard modes since you practically get mobbed and really actually need to work together to survive.

It's more of a fast paced battle for survival than just a shooter but you don't really struggle till your in the harder modes.

Play it on advanced and if your good enough extreme but the game is certainly best served with a decent gaming mouse because on the harder modes you need pin point accuracy and freakish reactions to keep alive.

Put quite a few hours into it and still accidentally shooting my own team mates or not getting enough head shots to stop the big ass zombie gang bangings.

HIGHLY recommend it though.

Yeah i got this as well but discarded it quite sharpish because I couldn't play online and it seemed pointless to carry on singleplayer.

All the hype seems to be around the multiplayer on this one.

Would this game work over hamachi?

This game is the business with a group of 4 mates on comms . We play on the PC and versus mode on the new versus map Dead Air is our current favourite . The only issue with the game is the number of quitters who quit whilst getting farmed . Valve should sort the lobby system out to cater for groups of 4 to easily match up with each other to stop /reduce the quitting issues .
