Wave X support

Support of future Waves of X360 game disc structures. New partition sizes and video data will be automatically supported and will be allowed to boot.

This represents a possibility of booting a bad backup but now that there is some good tools out there (like abgx360) to check your backups before you boot them, the risk is small.

So please check your backups to ensure consistency with the original!

Full support to flash all drives in the new Jungleflasher (0.1.51) including easy upgrade for Liteon iX1.5 drives (WIll get all info inc key from drive over SATA)

I was up till 4 last night, and flashed a lite-on and a samsung without issue. Also tried the key dump facility on an already flashed Liteon...it works well.
I still have Via issues on delete, so am still having to flash/erase in dos, but I prefer to do that anyway.
This morning I updated my Hitachi59 , and had a number of problems, namely with ModeB not working properly, being greyed out, and then sectors failing. I ended up having to use the restore from the 1.41 package as restore on Jungleflasher was failing. Got there in the end though.

i solved this by removing the via card from device manager and also removing the driver files from windows dir, on reboot it should just show as 'raid controller' with an exclamation mark, hasn't froze on delete since

just flashed my ms28 that was spoofed to a liteon, tbh i had no clue on how to flash a ms28 let alone one that thinks its a liteon but after a bit of reading and some patiance i did it first time. Tested HAWX and it booted first time no problems

Yeah, I know this is the fix, but I also have a pc drive hooked up, so if I do that, I lose the drive in windows.
I prefer to do everything manualy anyway...bit of a control freak :-)

you can just read-> insert key / spoof -> write. no need to restore anything at a samsung drive .. guess its not different with a hitachi.

@topic: done updating sami to 1.51 (iprep/mtkflash) .. damnit no new game here to try it

You need to restore a hitachi before re-writing.

Hitachi's are modded by 'patching' certain sectors unlike Samsung/Benqs where its a full erase/write job.

So patching over an already patched firmware (hitachi wise) is incredibly bad and WILL result in a bricked drive (which can't be fixed easily)

you can patch the differences but it is possible to do a **full** erase/reflash without restoring first. As long as you are doing the whole eeprom you are fine

well i used it to do a hitachi 79 and a lite on that was 1.4 (i did use the probe aging to get key but i did have to rebuild the serial) but its works so easy for both even the unlocking the 79 was nice all in all hell yea LOL

ah fook being a class a idiot I have completely mucked up flashing my 360.

I already had mine flashed with an older firmware and attempted to upgrade it today.

Tried to flash it with jungleflasher following the jungleflasher guide.

It failed whilst writing bank 3 and now I cannot get the drive back into vendor more.

Would I have any better luck if I managed to make a boot usb stick and try and flash it again with that.
