Only issue is that the car charger not charging it but that could be the cradle or cable. Going borrow one to try.

TomTom is mint again thanks to this thread and I am upto date with speedcams.

Hi Russ I just copyed all Navcore v8.24 Go500.zip to my blank card on my TomTome One V1 everything fired up ok but no maps found so put on United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland V 855-2931 but still not working so loaded up tomtome home and says maps need to be activated how i do this?

Whenever you use any copied map it has to be activated - see the guide in the first post of this thread on how to do this. Also, you can use the latest v860.3101 UK & RoI map (posted in this section) & the v860 UK postcode files.
As you are using the V8.204 Navcore from the first post you do not need to patch the ttsystem file as this has already been done.

What happened when you used the activation tool ?
Did it put a file named
' United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-254.meta '
or
' United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-264.meta '
into your map folder - they will be a 1kb .DCT file?
If you are still having problems send me a PM with the exact map version number you are trying to activate and your DeviceID

ASR is for the Speech Recognition - will not work on a TT One so nothing to worry about.

Seeking a bit of assistance regarding this.

Never (succesfully) done it previously but now I'm in abit of a rush..

I have a TT Go720

I updated it completley in TT Home to v8.351 (navcore???)

Copied map to device (Poland 860.3101)

Ran Alberts tool

Selected Keygen_8

Entered Correct Device ID

Browsed to the map on TomTom (Poland 860.3101)

I added the meta data from the .nfo into meta.txt

Loded meta.txt - it recognised the Polish map

Generated .dct (this created a file on my TT)

Ptached TomTom System Files -

Rebooted device....

IT comepletely ignores the fact IVe put Polish maps on there. ....

Any insight? I need this up and running for Weds, as thats when the ex drives back to Poland.
