    COD4 Just finished COD5

And by christ, it aint a patch on COD4. Don't think I'll bother playing it online - I just don't like the guns!

    Back to COD4 for me

I didn't even bother with COD5 as COD4 was disappointing, did COD5 also last 5 hours to finish?

Single player is shit, online is great imo. Not much difference between COD4 online, just different maps and weapons. You get used to them.

Yes pretty much - the single player is probably a little longer than COD4.

Both games are all about the online play though really I think.....there is something extremely satisfying about creeping up to a camper and stabbing them in the back

Yep, but you see I cannot play online, I completely lose it. In fact, I may argue that when I play online games that is the only time when I actually lose control of my anger.

In 2001 when the demo map (beach) was out for RTCW I was king in it. Then the game was released, I couldn't play as I was in the middle of moving to another country and life, until about 6 months later and I was shit, jesus I stayed alive for 3 seconds....ever since I have tried to ban myself from online playing, the exception being GTA IV, though the controller has flown a few times there too.

Yes that is a big problem! When I first started playing online COD4, I found myself up against 18-month veterans, and was barely able to get a shot off before being killed

Took a good deal of hours before I even managed to come anywhere other than last in the match rankings

Yeah getting to know the maps when you start out is hard. Playing with killcam helps as you can see where you're getting shot from.

You never seem to be online when I am mate, we keep missing each other.
And get a fucking mic you pikey.

i prefer COD5 online. some of the guns are far better. there is more bolt action rifle uses which nurtures a bit of skill. i used a springfield with bayonet for a long time, but ultimately my favourite weapons are:
    Bolt action:Springfield
    Semi Auto: M1 Garand/M1A1 Carbine
    SMG: MP40
    MG: BAR
    Sniper: PTRS

i love the weapons in this game and i really enjoyed campaign. it was a bit short, but Roebuck is a ledgend.
I used the arisaka a lot in campaign.
i prefer it in a lot of ways to COD4, although 4 was still awesome.
