Sky HD Waiting List?!

Ordered mine yesterday & 6 weeks wait (existing customer) .. I threatened to cancel over the install fee unless the can do me a discount or anything , I got 20% off subscription for 6 months..

I only had to wait a week for my HD box, clearly new customers get special treatment!

yes yes you did only have to wait a week lets see how long you have to wait for broadband.....

no sign of mine yet, long time sky customer so in skys eyes im scum!

How long have you been waiting?

3 weeks I think mine was....Ive been with Sky since 1992.

11 days for broadband and nearly 4 weeks for phone to transfer over.

It appear the priorities for their field0 engineers are a scheduled changeover of HD boxes to remove Pace ones as well as new installs. Current customer upgrades come at least 4th in the pecking order after faults.

I put my name down last week and I've got to wait at least 12 weeks

it's a joke but I can't get any other service! What hd channels does freesat offer compared to Sly? It could be a better option.

Ordered yesterday, installed 4th but changed it till the 9th and its free as well

registered on the 24/03, could order on the 25/03 got a nice email telling me it would be 3 months

got an update on the 25/04 you can have your order in 3 months

so a month goes by but its still 3 months

there the worst example of a company but being the suckers we are we keep paying, i had my fill off them when i got Sky + (first gen) went trhough 4 boxes in the first 12 months it was then I found out the replacement boxes where all refurbs which all had 12 months warranty from the original box

there scum and we are fools

so tempted to cancel contract and go with Virgin HD

had to wait 6 weeks for mine, been with the (unts since day 1.. Also i was told it would come with new epg (got old epg on it) , gonna tell them they got 7 days to get epg on the box or im cancelling..
