    Default Vista Upgrade Problems

I currently have Vista Home Premium 64 on my HTPC and I want to upgrade to Ultimate so I can use remote desktop.

I bought an online upgrade (not anytime upgrade) from a MS authorised partner (Digital River) and downloaded the file they made available. I've tried to install it but it reports that some files are missing for the install and aborts.

I'm getting a bit of a runaround from the supplier so I phoned MS, they simply say it cannot be installed without the disk but Digital River say the disk contains the same as the download.

    Anyone got any ideas?

I've been trying to buy the DVD but the MS website only seems to have Vista 32 and the Digital River system fails at the checkout.

Download a Vista ISO and use your new key should work with a clean install.

Get your money back if you can mate and install Win 7. Vista is crap.

I did download an ISO but it fails with the reg number, I can only assume that it's because the version I have is the RED edition which possibly isn't on the ISO. I don't want to do a clean install if I can help it.

I don't want to use Win7 as it's still pre release.

    Returns and Cancellations

What is your refund policy? Your product may be eligible for return within 7 days of the purchase date, if it has not yet been activated.
Trouble is these feckers only operate via email and I think even Royal Mail would be quicker!!

    I'll give it a go.
