Have you got some insider-info on the ITV HD timescale, or is it passing on something you've heard?

I've had Sky+ for a while and it was cheaper to terminate my contract and open a "new" contract with Sky+HD than to upgrade to Sky+HD.

Had the HD box installed earlier this week and it was an Amstrad.

I have the problem of having freesat HD built into my TV already - i.e. I already get ITV HD.

However, I only have 2 satelite inputs which are both needed for Sky+ and Sky+HD to work properly.

Therefore I asked during my install, how do I split one of the satelite inputs in order to still get ITV HD via my freesat HD TV, and have the Sky box fully functional. He said you can't, but ITV HD will be available on the Sky box by July this year.

You need to run another cable run from the lnb.

Whether it will be on the EPG is debatable, it'll deffo be available via manual tuning when all HD boxes have the new software.

It more likely that it'll be a red button option as it is for Freesat at the moment when it does become available.
