Easter Weekend - what are your plans?

Have you got 4 days off work? What have you got planned?

I will be training tomorrow am then spend time with my missus and my son in the afternoon.


Working Saturday am (first Easter Sat in 8 years or so but cannot turn work down due to a quiet start to the year). Out on the piss in Clapham with pals on Sat night. My missus has Brum chums down for the night so I am going out solo.


Sunday am - hangover Sunday pm - free.


Monday out for lunch with family at La Famiglia in Chelsea.

Got to teach Poppy to skateboard. Knee and elbow pads and wristguards have been purchased. Hope the weather perks up really as it looks a little on the shit side at the moment. Off till Thursday of next week after today so got a few days to do stuff like visit the Wild Boar Park near Preston and whatever else depending on weather really.

Midday BBQ on Sunday weather permitting and possibly a night out in Blackpool with the lads if I can get a night pass off the missus!

So my weekend is summed up by - Suicide Sunday, recovery Monday!

Friday - Boarding the loft (oh the joy), timber and board purchased, just the fitting to go.

Saturday - Depends on the weather, would be nice to out on the allotment, loads to do, got to get me spuds in

Sunday - Easter egg hunt, bonus is that it's at a pub, result.

Monday - God know what tasks the other half would have saved up and not told me about.

No kids so we have a nice posh hotel booked on the south coast :-) weekend will be spent in the spa, swimming, good food, maybe take in Pompey vs WBA, go visit a nice quaint village or two :-)

This time round my plan is sleep.

I took last week off work with the same plan, but out of the 5 days holiday the only day I actually got to rest in bed was the one day I had the world's worst hangover.

Had Golf penciled in but Weather is supposed to be really really bad, high winds and heavy rain.

So will be spending all weekend with my Missus and bump, Daughter, 360 and some tins.

My Daughter is 3 and loves to look at the road map we have in the back of the seat, we said we would go for a drive with her directing, lol. Might try that this weekend, think I will have to borrow my Dad's Sat Nav for the return journey.

I turn 40 on Sunday so me and the Missus are off to Florida for 10 days from Saturday for beer and rollercoasters!! I may be growing old but I'll never grow up!!!!
