Just bought a 2nd hand PS3 Downloaded game copyright error?

Hiya Chaps, just bought a PS3 and it came with a couple of games that the previous owner downloaded. One of them works fine but the other one 'flow' come ups with teh following error when I try to run it:



The copyright protection information is invalid. (80029513)


I'm pretty sure that this is because the user has deleted there account. What do I need to do to get it working again?



Any help would be great.

I think it'll only work with the account that downloaded the game, I may be wrong though.

The games will usually work with all accounts on the system, so long as the account that purchased it isn't deleted. Sfaik the only way to get it working again would be to get the previous owner to put his account back on (if its a friend this is viable because it doesn't have to have the password saved). Unless of course flow has a different licence to the games that I've bought

Otherwise you'll have to buy the game again if you want it.

Hmmm well both games (Rub a Dub and Flow) were bought with my account, which I deleted before I sold to devs.

Any idea why one works and one doesnt, when they were both bought on the same account?

Thanks for all the info guys. From my research some games seem to be more tolerant than others when the main account has been removed. It looks like flow isn't one of those ;(

Ah sorry mate, and I know it isnt the point but your not missing much with Flow.
