unlocking a nokia 6500s

can it be done simply or does it cost a lot
anyone here can do em or have a turbo sim thing adapter

it can be done simply, take it to a local phone shop.

I have done one of these using a sim adapter, can be a bit fiddly getting it into the sim holder as it slides in rather than drops in but patience is the key. You need to tape the sim to the adapter using as thin a tape you can get to hold the terminals in place leaving enough room to slide into the phones sim slot. You can get them cheap from DX or I probaly have a new one you can have for a tenner delivered.

I might just get rid of my old one and get the guy buying it to get the unlocking sorted to save me te hassle

When I had my 6500 it was very hard to unlock and you had to post the phone away. The turbo sim worked fine once you had actually managed to fit the adapter to your sim. It was quite tricky and I was convinced it wouldn't fit but it did in the end.

Still can't believe I swapped my 2G iPhone for a 6500 with Breamy of all people

Just realised I got it on contract anyway so it's already unlocked
