    Default Getting Feeds Upstairs Upstairs

    Guyz
Might be a daft question, In my Lounge I have my skyhd box which has a cable going up to the amplifer in the loft, which then feeds sky round the house.
Now also in the lounge I have my dreambox, and my media centre, BUT I can only watch them in the lounge at the moment, is there any way of gettin the signal off them both to the amp in the loft via the one cable I have already, for distribution round the house, without running new cables.

I was thinking of connecting all wires to a splitter, then into the wall, but adjusting the rf channel to differnt ones, and then tuning in on the other TVS, But Im sure the more technical amongst us, Will tell me dont be daft you Plonker

But if anyone can think of a way I would be greatful
    thanks
    Al

I you've WiFi'd your house, you have DECC phones or you have a particular controller on your Gas Central Heating you may get spurious results results.

You need to check that the frequency they all operate on don't interfere with each other other.

I'm also unsure whether the power/bandwidth needed to transmit HD is possible or whether you can get HD splitters at the moment moment.
    IT people slash forward.

Also, lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....

the sky signal is being sent in sd at the moment, thru the aerial cable we are happy with thats, its just trying to get the others upstairs, I didnt realise that trying to alter the siganl form I think sky is sent theu there normal 68-69, would affect household items
    thanks for the input m8

I think brum is confusing your set-up with a video-sender set up!

I dont think its possible to do it via the same cable m8...you need to run another coax feed from the dreambox to your attic and feed that via the amp from there.

    Wireless RF sender ?
Things have moved on from the crowded 2.4GHz range now a days, checkout the 5.8GHz range instead
