    Help Atx and atx micro

got a ATX motherboard and a micro atx tower spare, the board fits in the tower. not leaving much space, but would the tower damage the motherboard or just a spupid idea?

If it fits and it's secure enough it'll be fine.

Just make sure there is plenty of good airflow for the processor heatsink and video card if fitted.

    IT people slash forward.

Also, lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....

Stranger things have happened on df before.

My only comment - have a look at all the bits that stick out of the case where the mobo should screw into and check they will all be meeting up with those round bits of solder made to meet them. I remember shorting out a mobo once as I missed out one little thingy on the case which touched tracks on the pcb and killed the board.

i noticed this problem carl. the biggest problem i came across was the back plate for the connection's but a local dealer charged me £2 for two that matched. im going to build it up later to night fingers crossed it's all ok.
