    Default Forced update on 3011HD box *WORKING*

    Just got new EPG on a Thomson 3011after forced update, and the box is FTV and not on contract. Go try it guys

    do you know if its possible to do the update without being connected to the phone line?

    Yep the update is nothing to do with the phone connection.

    Switch off at mains ...switch back on whilst holding in the backup button...do not let go until you see the onscreen message.

    ok im having a problem with my thomson hd box i have updated it and ever since the new gui is running i get a "no satellite signal is being received" message in the setup bit it shows i have a sat signal coming in at it usual power and when i flip to any channel it shows what programme is currently being shown yet there is still no signal being recieved??

    Any ideas chaps?

    Try swapping the inputs around!

    You`ll have to go to the hidden menu if you have a single feed and set to single if thats the case (mine is) my box updated (off contract, no OSC) 10 mins and POP, all done.
