    Default hd freeview channels

Been reading the forum and I think i know the answere but just need someone to confirm.
If i have the basic subscription can i get a HD box and watch the free to air hd channels like itv without paying the £10 extra.
Also my next question assuming i get a yes to the above. Could i order sky hd to get HD box then cancel the HD extra after the first month and keep the box for this pupose.

If you order from Sky under the offers you have to take HD sub for 12 months.

Just buy an HD box off ebay...I got a Pace off there for £90 last week.

Any sat box will be able to tune into the FTA channels. Receiving FTA HD channels are no different, you just need a box capable of HD.

My comment concerning the Thomson box was in relation to ITVHD....BBCHD etc is available on all other models.
