    Default Tonights sunset.

Thought I ought to post a shot for once, so here's my day 132 shot for my 365 blog

This was taken about 5 mins from my home over looking Croyde Bay. The image is pretty much SOOC (straight out of camera) with just a few tweaks in lightroom to adjust levels and tone saturation of orange sun down a little.

Click the image to large on black.

    Enjoy.

Cheers guys, tonights "get out and shoot" really lifted a crappy day for me. (Check narrative on my flickr stream for explanation)
@Bertroot - Would have loved to crash with a beer after getting in but am currently looking at, at least 4 hours lightroom processing fromlast weekend wedding. Bring on the red bull.

Lol, am shooting a gig in a couple of weeks and the picture taking bit doesn't bother me at all but the fucking processing I cannot be bothered with.

It is a necessary evil mate, I reckon 75% of my time is spent processing. 15% of my time on phone / emails / kissing arse and the final ten is spent shooting images. Sometimes it gets a drag but with each new shot comes new energy and I am charged to get out there again and shoot more. I might not say that after my next wedding though. 12 hours solid, 2 shooters 3 locations and 180 guests!!!! Oh and a 5 day turnaround on the first proof images.

Yeah I know but I want the pixies to do it for me. I got a second tog job at a wedding in a few weeks doing candids for a reasonable fee but the great thing is I can just hand the RAWs over and that is me done. Perfect.

urrghhh Processing... horrible thing to have to do but it certainly is a necessary evil.

Matt, this is a stunning image mate. Very nice exposure on the sun and those clouds are immense.. Beautiful colour range in this too.

I'm off to the lakes this weekend. WOOHOO, a 'tog trip. First time I'll get to really play out with the camera in a while. Hoping it stays good and hoping for a cracking lakeside or mountain sunset.

You big ponce with your girly sunsets

Lovely colours though, liking the deep warm glow of the setting sun, could do with showing some more foreground detail I think, just a touch too dark there

I'm with Belial, lacking foreground but lovely colours make up for that. Great shot Matt.

Ian, you're in the lakes this weekend, interesting, may bump into you

Lovely pic mate. Love the range of colours of sunset colours and a great contrast between the water and the sun!

Cheers for the comments on my image guys, much appreciated.

@belial and other foreground lovers. I like it that way maybe or I forgot my ND Grad filters. I hear what you are saying but I do love a bit of foreground shiloutte sometimes.

@djad - What size mate and I will knock you one up.
