Remote Play Issue

I can get Remote play working from local wifi connection but not external wifi connection (even tho wifi works ok)

any clues ?

i had this working locally myself, never tried it externally.
i will get the psp over the w/e (daughter has it) and give it a whirl.
thats of course if u havent already solved it

Lol the only way I can got it working remotely is to leave the PS3 switched on in Remote play mode i have never got the remote power on to work...

From a PSP you can access your PS3 from any wifi connection local to your ps3 or via the internet and use it like a media server, you can watch your videos music pictures dvd`s and surf the web

I find if i have the remote power on over the internet enabled, then my ps3 randomly turns itself on all the time. I only really use the local wifi option because of it.
